Creating a New Design

Postby itssujee » Sat May 21, 2016 2:19 am

Hey, I'm looking to reinvent the wheel with a new design for a hand. Any pointers?

First thing to note is that 3D printed plastic is weak. Thin parts WILL break.

Large joints will allow a user to use more of their strength in a grip.

Large rigid half cylinders for the bracer are fragile, and fit only a few body types.

Elastic cables are very difficult to install, and make it difficult to use.

Don't let plastic parts touch the user.

I look forward to whatever you come up with!

I break hands and then tell you how I did it.
