Extended Bracer

Postby hertfordkc » Sun Feb 22, 2015 12:03 am

The V1 Raptor included an extended bracer. No indication of when to use it.
From the printer/assembler view point:
Pros: More positive, fixed attachment, less likely to slip under load. More efficient mechanical connection to palm. Stronger?
Cons: Bulkier, cosmetic factor?
One recipient definitely prefers it, yet it is only available on the V1 Raptor. What is the story?

From a user's perspective...

I really like the longer bracer. It gives me far more leverage when closing my fingers, and it better distributes the stress across my whole forearm.

On a more personal note, I actually like the bulkiness of it. It feels like I'm wearing some big futuristic power glove or something. It is heavier, but I don't mind that all too much.

I break hands and then tell you how I did it.
