Python Hand Attachments

Postby GreggDennison » Fri May 29, 2015 3:02 am

Hey everyone! I have something I wanted to share to whomever may be interested. One thing I noticed Luke struggling with was holding poles, specifically a kayak paddle. So I came up with a design and had a friend of mine model it and now have this:

(Sorry for the link, I could not get an actual photo to post here)
Now, in this pic I'm holding a broom and will test the kayak paddle this weekend. I'm thinking this may be good for holding a rake too. Maybe some other things, time will tell.

Now, this is version 1. I'm sure we will be making changes to it. We are also working on a universal cell phone holder. More on that to come.

For anyone not knowing what the Python hand is or want to play around with some designs yourself, check it out here:https://www.youmagine.com/designs/python-utility-hand-alternative-assistive-device
