I created this thread to facilitate a discussion around the process for launching an idea into the eNABLE community (aka How Do People Know When a Design is Ready for Recipients?). A critical piece of that process is the notion of what is "Current and Recommended"". This helps differentiate between designs that are being tested and need more work vs. those that are ready for recipients.
NOTE: This process is intended to apply to non-prostheses, as well. So if you have an idea about how we can better organize ourselves or how we can bulk order clear Tippee gels or whatever, his process will help you make your idea a reality, too.
Here is a working doc with a simple workflow diagram
We're holding a Google Hangout to discuss further on 4/2 @ 8pm (GMT+2).
This forum is for general discussion. If you want to discuss things that don't fit elsewhere, do it here.

A few questions to consider:
- What is the advantage of getting approved?
- How will people know what is approved vs. unapproved?
- Does this only apply to prostheses or other ideas, as well?
