Hey Felicia,

It looks like you have lots of people in your Prosthesis Club! How exciting!

Your device looks nice. It has good motion and the velcro is well attached. The tippy gel fingers look good, but don't be surprised if they wear out pretty quickly. We're exploring alternative to those.

I'd like to see some closeups of the device (especially fingertips and some of the palm) so I can see the quality of the print. A couple more videos from your club automatically popped up on youtube after yours, and their print quality looked good, so if your is similar that's great.

I'll also suggest that you try a more recent hand design (though the raptor is great!). I think most recipients are liking the Raptor Reloaded (lighter, more ergonomic and easier to print) or the Phoenix Hand. Both are readily available through thingiverse or enablingthefuture.org (http://enablingthefuture.org/wrist-powered/).

I also highly recommend Team Unlimbited's thermoformed gauntlet: http://www.teamunlimbited.org/thermo-form-gauntlet/
It prints nicer, is stronger and more comfortable for recipients.

Thanks for joining up with the group and let me know if you have any questions!

Hi!

I have attached pictures of close-ups of my hand so that you can better examine the print. Please let me know if you'd like me to send you anything else for inspection.

So I would just like to clarify: after you approve the pictures, I screenshot the post on credly and then after I claim the badge, I can find a local child in need of a hand and work with him/her to make a customized hand? Or will we be matched?

Also, will Brandeis now be placed on the chapters map?

Thank you!

Thanks for those. Looking good. The newer designs (raptor reloaded and phoenix) print nicer so I think you'll be even more impressed by their quality. As for your questions:

1) Post a screenshot of the forum approval post as evidence for CREDLY.

2) We don't have a matching process in place yet. It is being worked on. Any matches you get locally will be at your own effort. Once the matching system gets sorted, you may get matches through ENABLE as well.

3) To be added to the map as a chapter you can go through this google form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIp ... g/viewform

The forum approval screenshot will work for proof that you've been approved for this as well.

Does that help?
