Requesting approval: John Landreneau

Postby jtlandreneau » Fri Jul 07, 2017 10:31 am

Hello,

I'd like to submit the following videos as proof of build to earn the credly badges to continue supporting the community

The most recent hand, currently in its way to Ghana, for 5 year old Glorious: https://youtu.be/KqcJxUWwPmU

My first delivered hand to Moses in Ghana: https://youtu.be/JSnBqdBB0Zg

I've attached pictures showing the Raptor hand test print when I first joined the community, Moses's hand prior to shipment, and a screenshot of my Google+ membership

Ghana e-NABLE chapter POC: Ishmael Afful

Thanks!

Hey John,

To approve the Raptor, we need to see it fully assembled with the tensioner pin for the thumb and whippletree (with the version that you printed).
Its a matter of complete transparency and consistency across all makers.

I'm confident that you have all the necessary skills given that you've provided the first ever Kwawu Arm to Ishmael and i've seen and heard good things about its use, but I need to get the same baseline print from everyone regardless.

Once I see the full base Reloaded assembled I can give you the confirmation to get your initial credly badges. The pictures you provided for the Kwawu are perfect and we can get you that badge, but the "Test Hand" badge requires a fully assembled Raptor or Phoenix (as of this moment - we're working to get a fully-fleshed and clear approval process underway).

Cheers!
Eric

Perfect!

Looks good to me. I think e-NABLE is moving towards recommending the Phoenix design (though eventually i'd like to see the Flexy Hand adopted, which you've made with the Kwawu!)

Thanks for joining up with the group and let me know if you have any questions!

Consider this message your approval for the Raptor Reloaded design!
