Chris,

Could you post some up close pics of your build? White filament is so hard to see in videos.

What kind of issues were you experiencing with the thermo-mold?

I've been printing the Team UNLIMBITED Phoenix Hand, it is a much simpler gripper box design. The gripper box is also press fit onto the gauntlet, the palm mesh and the upper palm are one piece (requiring less hardware) AND it comes with a jig for the thermo-molding! I've switched over to it instead of the regular Phoenix for these reasons.

Thanks!

The thermo molding was just a minor issue. Using a jig would solve the issue.

Is it possible to get those files in STL format?

Chris,

The pictures look great. To get STL files for the UNLIMBITED Hand go to 'Apps', and then 'Customizer' and then scale it for 100%. It will give you all the files at 100% scale in a zip file to download. You will need to create a thingiverse account for that. If this isn't an option, let me know and I can attach the zip in here.

Also, my last critique is the tension. It is the most common issue, but it is easily solvable. Try and set you tensions so your hand will open and close like this:

It is easier for the user to use this way.

Thanks for joining up with the group and let me know if you have any questions!
