Hey Emily and Lea,

Great video. The print looks great. Excellent problem solving to get it all working. My big suggestion is to really increase that tensioning angle. When the palm is at rest on a table, the gauntlet should be inclined by about 35-45 degrees to be ideal for users to get maximum functionality. We want to minimize the amount of extension of the users muscles to get a strong grip and slightly higher resting angle tension accomplishes this.

Consider this message your approval for the TEST HAND and the Raptor Reloaded fabrication and assembly badges!

The approval badges are being sent out through a website called credly, so you'll need to get an account on there:
https://credly.com/

Once you have an account you can take a screenshot of this post or submit the link for this post into credly to claim your approval badge here:

Also checkout the enablingthefuture page for getting involved to see what other badges you might be able to get:

Only a few volunteers that can do the credly approvals, so it can take several weeks.

No worries. Credly badging is moving a bit slowly lately. There is work to move to a new badging system that is taking most of the credly team's time. They'll get to approvals as soon as they can (and all badges will transfer to the new system). It will just take some time. Rest assured you can keep printing new designs and testing new devices and your credly badges will eventually appear.

Hi!

Thank you for all of your help, we have gotten our approval and badge, however we are unsure of how/where our requests will come from, because we haven't heard anything. If we are still in a waiting period, that would be great to know so we can plan accordingly!

Thanks.

No hand requests will ever really come to you. You find needs either through https://www.enablewebcentral.com/ by registering on there OR you can reach out and advertise locally about what you can make to try and find people to help.

Does that help?

Eric
