Request for approval

Postby team3d » Mon Mar 05, 2018 3:59 pm

Hi,

We are a team of engineering students from ECAM in Brussels, Belgium. We would like to build a hand. We already created a test hand for approval.
We printed a raptor reloaded with an Ultimaker 2+.
Please find our test hand attached.

Here is the video:

Kindest regards

Hey team3D,

The print looks fine. You can help smooth the fingertips by positioning them so they point towards the fan as it blows.
You also should really increase the tensioning angle a lot. When you lie the palm flat, the gauntlet should be at a 35-45 degree angle to the horizontal.

Consider this message your approval for the TEST HAND and the Raptor Reloaded fabrication and assembly badges!

The approval badges are currently being sent out through a website called credly, so you'll need to get an account on there:
https://credly.com/

There is work being done to move to a new badging system (called badgr) but all your credly badges will transfer over. This transfer is occurring this weekend/early next week, so if you don't get your claim for a badge in by FRIDAY, you'll need to use the new badging system. Instructions will be sent out once the new system is live.

Once you have an account you can take a screenshot of this post or submit the link for this post into credly to claim your approval badge here:
https://credly.com/claim/101276

Also checkout the enablingthefuture page for getting involved to see what other badges you might be able to get:
