Talon resizing

Postby rjacke03 » Tue Nov 17, 2015 3:42 am

Hello, could anyone tell me is there is standard sizing guide for the Talon hand as there is with the Cyborg Beast? I have never made one before and am in search of any useful tips.

Thanks.

Generally, the Talon is sized similarly to the Raptor. If a 130 Raptor will fit, so will a 130 Talon.

Now that, unlike most devices where the palm just sits inside the front end of the device, in the Talon the user actually sort of wedges their anatomy unto the space made between two pieces of leather that tapper into an edge.

If you want a device with a more forgiving fit, check out the Osprey on Thingiverse. The leather bracer is constructed so you only have to worry about the palm fitting.

I break hands and then tell you how I did it.
