Partial configuration

Postby kloud213 » Sat Mar 03, 2018 10:27 pm

So I have been doing research, wanting to design a prosthetic for myself. I like the current designs but I haven't lost all my fingers. I lost my index to the first knuckle and my middle all the way to the hand. What I was thinking is mixing concepts, but I am not sure how well it would work. I was thinking maybe use Knick's finger for my index and the Phoenix for my middle with the phoenix wrist portion for the "tendons" on both. Any ideas and input would be greatly appreciated.

It may be worth while to design a low profile 2-pin tensioner to fit the dovetail on the Team Unlimbited thermo-form gauntlet. Also it would be a shame for any bulkiness to interfere with your thumb and palm. Maybe a thumb cuff could actuate the index finger for picking up a pencil.

Hopefully you get some responses from people more knowledgeable than I! I'll chime in again if I can think of anything else.
