I really need to know what the difficulty level of building each of these prosthetic models are? (raptor reloaded, cyborg beast, unlimbited phoenix, reborn phoenix and the phoenix arm)
Also, how long does it take to print the 3D bits of each of these models?
Finally, how long does it take to assemble each of these models?

If anyone answers, I'll buy you cake

Built the Unlimbited and Phoenix V2. Takes time to print, 3d printing is not plug and play. Didn't time the assembly.. stringing the fingers takes the most time.. If you have never 3d printed you should probably start with that as it is a time consuming learning curve.
Someone just posted an instructable on how to get your makers badge over in the enable Google+ group. I would suggest you join there if you can figure out how.. They don't use this forum anymore too much.

Old post, but perhaps other students are considering building one during a semester? Part of your assembly time will be for post processing on the 3d parts. You have to have the right hardware for someYou will need to purchase the correct size drill bits and taps.

Phoenix does not require any drilling or taping of parts. But, you will need to buy parts for assembly. Do not skimp on the padding- making it comfortable for the recipient is key for it being useful to them.. If you are making the Cyborg, either calculate the right size Chicago screws ahead of time or plan on waiting for delivery of those parts. Osprey requires different sizes of nylon string and set screws depending on the size.

Open the files in your slicer program to see how long printing will take at the scale you need. Likely at least one overnight to make the forearm, one for the cuff, one for the palm, and one for the fingers. Smaller parts might be printed while you watch- I am assuming you alone are doing the printing, that you can leave the machine on overnight, and that if a part takes over a class period that you don't want to watch it!.

How long does it take to assemble? Hard to say for the first one. Do you include the time to read the directions and watch assembly videos? Each one would be different. When you get practiced, you could do one in a few hours. Maybe one hour. If you have all the parts and tools. A method in place for thermoforming. If you are figuring each step out as you go, plan several (or four or five) class periods.
