Elbow powered hand

Postby dstudio » Fri Jan 13, 2017 1:39 pm

Hi, I printed a elbow powered hand for 14 yr kid. the prints have come out fine but have issue with finger movement. the top joints move as they should but the lower joints (connected to palm) only move partially. any advice?

Which hand are you printing? Assuming one with cabling, are you using fishing line that stretches? This could cause it to stretch when flexing initially moving the top of the digit and then stretching as the lower digits add more resistance. I would suggest moving to a line that has less flex in it if this is the case.

Good Luck,
